After being a military wife and moving around for 7 years, they had a beautiful daughter Marsha Ann Thorne on October 31, 1945.
They moved for awhile before finally settling down in Wichita Kansas in the early 1950's and made a wonderful life together, until their passing.
They owned two restaurants when they were in their 30's in downtown Wichita for several years, which they maintained and took care of together.
When they sold their businesses she then started working for Innes's Supper Club as a cocktail waitress for 10+ years and then another 25 years when it changed to The Famous Supper Club.
She retired early to spend her golden years with her loving husband Ed and they went to craft shows for many years later together.
She loved sewing and making scarves and earring sets and going to local craft shows with her husband. Demonstrating there items and meeting new people every day. This was good extra income for them as well as a great way to socialize. But family meant everything to them and always came first and foremost until each of their passing's.
