

He was born July 20, 1936 in Eureka, Kansas, to Murrel and Inez Aaroe. He was the oldest of three boys.
Murrel worked as a landing gear machinist for Cessna Aviation, in Wichita KS, for over 45 years.
Murrell enjoyed reading his Bible, traveling, gardening, and above all he never discovered an antique clock that he didn't want to own!
He was a God fearing man who greatly loved his wife, Beverly. He would do anything for her, including at her request, when she passed, that he move from Kansas to Indianapolis to be near his oldest daughter. The move gave him a new lease on life these past few years.
Murrel was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather a brother, and a friend who will be missed by many.
Murrel is survived by his immediate family: daughters, Sherry (Rodney) Frieden, and Robin (Kirk) Cleveland;, stepson, Jerome (Shawna) Biggars and Robert (Cheryl) Biggars; stepdaughter, Cherie (Brian) Slater; brother, Gale (Harmina Mulder) Aaroe; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly, his parents, Murrel and Inez Aaroe, his brother Tony Aaroe and his daughter, Terry Little.
Private burial service will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 10:00AM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
A Celebration of Life for Murrel will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Epworth United Methodist Church, 6450 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220.
