Nancy Criss

It is with sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Nancy Marie Criss. She lived a full 74 years and passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas. Born on August 11, 1950, in Wichita, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Myrna (Nielson) Criss and was also sister to John.

After graduating from high school, Nancy went on to earn her associate degree at Wichita State University where she used her education as an administrative assistant and substitute teacher. With these, it gave her the means to proudly raise her two daughters, Jennifer and Michelle.

Nancy loved animals and in her down time, she snuggled up with cat, Missy or grand dog, Jasper and tried to figure out the ending to any one of the crime shows she enjoyed watching. Not to mention, she also made time for diamond painting and always had time to spend with her daughters, family and friends.

A beautiful life lived, now in your hearts, never to be forgotten.

Memories will be remembered by her children, daughters, Jennifer Campbell and Michelle Sherwood as well as brother, John (Jeannine) Criss. She is now reunited with those gone before which include her parents along with many aunts, uncles.
