Nancy J. Grove

Nancy Joy Grove, 80, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Keepsake Kottage in Wichita, Kansas. Nancy was born February 18, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Toby and Bonnie (Jones) Howell. She attended East High School in Wichita and graduated with the class of 1960. Nancy was united in marriage to Curtis R. Grove on September 13th, 1969. Nancy was a huge animal lover as she loved her animals including dogs, ducks, geese, horses, and especially her Persian cats. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and “Grandma Nancy” and "Nana" to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was devoted to her Lord as she was a Sunday school teacher for 55+ years. As far as a career, Nancy drove the Andover School Bus for over 10 years taking care of the special needs children as the kids always held a special place in her heart. After being a school bus driver, Nancy returned to college and graduated with a degree in Nursing where she worked in the pediatric department at St. Joseph and St. Francis Hospitals until she retired. Family and Jesus were the cornerstone of Nancy’s life, and she will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Curtis; children Chris and wife Amy Fields, Mindy and husband Gary Hallmark and Cory Grove. Grandchildren Julianne and Evan Fields, Austin Jackson, Taylor and Husband Nick Nordman, Madison and Faith Hallmark, Great-grandchildren, Ellis and Calan Nordman. The casket will be open prior to the service at the church on Friday from 12:00 - 1:45 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday (January 20th, 2023) at Life Change Church, 10225 E. Kellogg Drive, Wichita, Kansas 67207. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1824 N. Oliver Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67208. Per family’s request, all plants and flowers can be delivered to Life Change Church in Wichita, KS. Arrangements have been entrusted with Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Wichita.
