

Neomia is proceeded in death by her parents, James P. and Mary A. Johnson, her 10 brothers and sisters, her husband, Thomas Clegg, her son, Donald Clegg, and her daughter, Shirley Dieker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Marcy Clegg, her son-in-law, Denis Dieker, and her seven grandchildren and their partners, Thomas (Deanna) Clegg, Lexi (Brad) Johnston, Alexis (Jeremy) Harries, Michael Clegg, Chelsea Clegg, Joe (Alyson) Dieker, Maggi (Kyle) McGuffey, 14 great grand children, and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Neomia was born and raised in Osborne, Kansas. In addition to graduating from Osborne High School, she spent part of her youth caring for her invalid mother, then worked as a nanny and helping in the business owned by the Jemison family in Osborne. Her brother introduced her to a British immigrant, Tom Clegg, and they were married in 1956. They lived in the same house in south Wichita for over 60 years. Neomia raised her children and assisted Tom with his electric company. She enjoyed following soccer and basketball as well as other sports. She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
A short Graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 1200 E. 13th St. N. Wichita, KS on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11 a.m that will be open to close friends and family and A celebration of Neomia’s life will be scheduled and held in a few weeks.
