Neva Maurine Madill peacefully passed away on April 30, 2025. She was Born on February 25, 1927, in Hallett, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Orville Wesley Hart and Catherine Maurine (Durnberger) Hart. Neva grew up alongside her siblings, Wilford, Wayne, and Donna Jean.
A graduate of Blackburn High School in Oklahoma, playing basketball. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Wayne J. Madill, with whom she shared 65 years.
Neva worked as a PBX operator for the telephone company. Her artistic talents flourished through decades of china painting and sewing, creating treasured pieces admired by many. A devoted member of Tyler Road Baptist Church for 60 years.
She donated an incredible 66 gallons of Apheresis to the Red Cross, reflecting her deep commitment to helping others.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Cathy (Madill) Trulove and Carol (Madill) Molz; grandchildren, Ellie Macy (Matthew), and Calon Trulove (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Gwyneth DeHaven, Matthew Macy, Brycen Trulove, Henry Trulove, Katelyn Trulove and Julia Macy; and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Wayne J. Madill.
A visitation for Neva will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM at Country Acres Baptist Church, 8810 W. 10th St. N., Wichita, KS 67212. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Rose Garden, 11800 W. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67209.
The family warmly invites everyone to join them for a luncheon after the burial inside Resthaven Mortuary.
