O. Lula Magdaleno

Obedulia (Lula) Magdaleno, passed away on Monday May 9, 2011. Lula was born at Folwer, Kansas on September 5, 1925; to Juan C. and Elvira Montano. They moved to Dalhart, Texas. Lula came to Wichita at the age of 18 and later married the late Tony Magdaleno. She is survived by her son Larry Magdaleno of Wichita and her daughter Antoinette Green (husband Jim), four grandchildren: Joe, Kelly, Jeffrey, and Kori and one great grandchild Olivia, all of Illinois. Other survivors are Brothers: Larry Montano-Roswell, NM; Victor Montano- North Carolina; Joe Montano- Kansas City, KS and Benny Montano- Cerritos, CA. Sisters: Julia Montano-Roswell, NM; Janie Montano-Amarillo, TX; Freda Allison-Diamond Bar, CA; Clara Thomas-San Juan Capistrano, CA. and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Juan C. Montano and Elvira Montano. Rosary will be 7:00 PM Friday May 13, 2011 at Hillside East. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Saturday May 14, 2011 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
