Patricia J. Tanner

Patricia "Pat" J. Tanner (Hamil), 94, passed away on January 30, 2017. Funeral service will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2pm, with visitation beginning prior at 1pm. Chaplain Tal Tittsworth will be officiating. Patricia was born September 28, 1922 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of William F. (Fred) and Ethel E. (Leasure) Hamil. She was a retired school bus driver, who drove for the Wichita school district (USD 259) for over 40 years. She and her husband were long time members of the Christian Motorcycle Association Jesus Team and she was a lifetime member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Helen Hamil and Billie Smith, husband Robert "Bob" Tanner and a grandson Zachary Tanner. She is survived by son and wife, Rod and Vicki Tanner; daughter, Priss Brown; son and wife, Tom and Vicki Tanner; daughter and husband, Peppi and Rudy Schroeder; grandchildren, Mia and Fred Hamblin, Romy and Jason Goodman, Jarrod and Jackie Tanner, Travis and Leesha Tanner, Scott Brown, Tiffany Wilson, Brandi and Brad Palmer, Monica Anders, Isaac and Jodi Brown Tanner; eighteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
