When I think of Paul Njoroge, memories of the little house we worked on for about a year come to mind. I remember how he loved the color green and one weekend he had all the cupboards painted green, to my surprise and dislike. He very cleverly convinced me it was a good color because as he said: "it reminds me of Kenya and the green fields". Also the time he had a goat killed to celebrate the new family room addition we had just finished. He talked about the tradition of killing a goat for special occasions, and what it meant. Paul was a fine man, a dedicated family man, a man who dearly loved his country of Kenya, a man of high principals, honesty and loyalty - a man who knew and understood the love of God. I'm sure that today the Heavenly Gates opened up for Paul leading a goat to celebrate the meeting of his God. Rest in peace, my dear friend!
