

Philip Alan Stephens, 69, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on July 10, 2026, surrounded by loved ones after an unexpected and prolonged illness. Born on August 18, 1956, Phil spent nearly his entire life in Wichita, with a decade in Parsons, KS from 1990 to 2000.
(He graduated from Wichita State University in 1978) and built a long career in accounting and finance, serving in roles at (Bank 1, Parsons Precision Products, Southwest Paper, and CFO at Product Manufacturing Corporation in Wichita). He retired in (2022).
Phil was quiet, analytical, dry humored, and gently goofy. He loved reading and sports, and in retirement found joy in giving back through volunteering and blood donation. He was humble, generous with his time, and deeply devoted to his family. He and his wife created a home and outdoor space they loved, where they spent peaceful days together.
A resilient cancer survivor, Phil lived twenty years after remission, years he filled with steadiness, warmth, and care for others.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Lisa Stephens; his children Alec and Lauren; his brothers Bill (Chris) and Paul Stephens; and close friends from childhood, church, and work. He was preceded in death by his parents, William O. and Mary Alice Stephens.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ridgepoint Church, 8000 W 21st St, Wichita, KS 67205, on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 am.
