Whitley, Phyllis, 87, retired Phyllis’ Beauty Shop owner and operator passed away October 30, 2012. Phyllis was active in Central Community Church Motivator’s Class, prior to that a 50 year member of First Evangelical Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Cowan, Herb Preheim and George Whitley; son, Grant Cowan; brother, Edward Reeves; sister, Ina Belle Robertson. She is survived by granddaughter, Wendy Tucker; great grandchildren, Shelby and Kim Tucker. Viewing is 12 to 8 pm Tuesday and funeral service is 3:00 pm Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Resthaven Mortuary.
