Dean and Hilda were best friends of my parents, Carl and Clara Peterson. I don't recall when their friendship started but when I came along, the two families got together almost every New Years Eve and we also camping trips in the summer. All of which were enjoyable. Dean and Hilda were always so much fun to be with. Dean was one of those great adults you could call your friend. I will miss him.

Uncle Dean was always a favorite in our family; there was always a smile and a greeting of warmth from him. He will surely be missed by all his family and friends, but knowing he is in a better place will be a comfort to all.
