Ralph was a Retired Lt. Colonel for the U.S. Air Force. Ralph flew with the 92nd Bomb Group, out of Pottington, England, he flew over Germany during World War II. (Twenty-five Missions).
He worked as a Supervisor Buyer for Boeing and was also a farmer/cattle rancher.
Ralph was a member of the Gideons and the Pleasant Valley Church. A lifetime member of the American Legion in Sedgwick, KS.
Preceded by his loving wife Carrol (Newman), parents Lyle and Lelah (Crawford) Koby, brother Roy, sister Ruth Sheffler and son-in-law Jacob. Survived by son Keith W. Koby (Penelope), daughters Connie L. Koby both of Wichita, Dona Wambsganss of Grand Forks, ND, brothers Lloyd Koby of Hot Springs, AR and Isaac Koby of Ennis, TX, sisters Mary Clark of Newton, Viola Strausz of Mound Ridge, KS, Ermina Shepherd of Newton, and grandchildren Erica Koby of Jordan, Warren Wambsganss (Amy) of Van Horne, IA and Jay Wambsganss of Grand Forks, ND, great granddaughter Addison Wambsganss.
Visitation 6-8pm on Thurs. Aug 12 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary.
Funeral Service 10am on Fri. Aug 13 at Pleasant Valley Church with burial to follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
