

Shamblin graduated from Raytown High School in Raytown, MO in 1966. He graduated from Friends University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in 1977.
He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1968 and was deployed to Vietnam. After his time in the Air Force Shamblin dedicated his life to Music Ministry and serving others. He Published several books, put on Music and Worship conferences and productions. He established many choirs and small ensembles. His passion was to help churches with their music and worship and to get a closer connection with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Willa Stone, his sister, Ruth Stone.
Shamblin is survived by his wife of 49+ years, Christine Marie (LaRue) Stone; children, Jeremiah David Stone (Lisa), Hannah Joy Lee, Micah Mathew Stone and Sarah Hope Gutierrez (Javier); grandchildren, Jordon Anthony Lee, Victoria Joy Lee, Jacob Micah Stone and Jesse David Gutierrez.
A come and go visitation will be available from 4:00PM to 7:00PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, KS 67206.
Funeral service for Ralph will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 with visitation one hour prior at Church at the Cross, 2901 Taft Street, Wichita, KS 67213. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Meditation with Air Force Funeral Honors.
