Rebecca dedicated her working life to caring for others, serving as a registered nurse in many nursing homes and a variety of other facilities. In each setting, she brought steady professionalism and a deep respect for the people entrusted to her care, offering comfort through both skill and presence.
Beyond her work, Rebecca found simple, meaningful enjoyment in crocheting and fishing.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her father, Richard F. Moore; her mother, Ruth Monahan; and her husband, Gene Newman.
She is survived by her brothers, Gary Moore and Kevin Moore; her sister, Leslie Luckhurst; her sons, Dustin Ellis, Daniel Ellis, Christopher Newman, and James Wright; and her daughter, Kimberly Shartzer. She also leaves behind 10 plus grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren (1 on the way), 5 nieces and 5 nephews.
