She was born on February 15, 1997, to Ty and Brenda Rauber in Wichita, Kansas.
Rebecca was a dedicated educator, serving as a second grade school teacher at Riverside Elementary in Emporia, Kansas. She was in her sixth year of teaching, a profession she approached with passion and commitment. Rebecca held a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree of Education from Emporia State University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Spanish.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Rebecca was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was known for her love of diamond art, baking, and traveling, pursuits that brought her great joy and fulfillment.
Rebecca is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Rauber.
Rebecca is survived by her father Ty, sister Bailey, brother Aaron Rauber (Karsyn), and grandparents Wayne and Teresa Schremmer. Her beloved cats, Freya and Ziggy, were also an important part of her life.
A Prayer Service will be held in her honor at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 861 North Socora, Wichita, Kansas 67212, on February 6, 2026, at 7:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will follow on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
