Rebecca "Becky" Stalkup

Becky graduated from Argonia High School, Class of 69', and continued her education at Butler Community College when she obtained her Associates degree. On January 1, 1972, Becky married the love of her life, Jay Stalkup. She retired in 2012 as head teller at Mid-American Credit Union. In her free time Becky volunteered at American Cancer Society in honor of her mother, Jo Ann Pearce. She loved sewing dresses for granddaughter Paige when she was little, cross-stitching, cooking, puzzles and reading.

Becky is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jay Stalkup; daughter, Kristi McConnell and husband, Rick; granddaughter, Paige Mark and husband, Josh; great-granddaughters, Kallie Jo and Lakyn Ann; brother, Tony Pearce and wife, Sue; sister, Luanne Pulliam and husband, Kendal; brother in law, Barry Hilsabeck and Lorrie; sister-in-law, Sue Stalkup; nieces: Kelli Lilly and husband, Jason; Andrea Coffman and, husband Patrick; Sarah Pulliam; De Ann Sandor and husband, Joel; Morgan Hilsabeck and husband, Curtis; Becky Bispan; nephews: John Pulliam and wife, Daniielle; Nick Stalkup and wife, Amy; Travis Hilsabeck and Brian Ehrmantraut.

She is predeceased by her parents, Erwin H. and Jo Ann Pearce; son, Jayson Stalkup; brother-in-law, John Stalkup; sister-in-law, Peggy Schindler; and sister-in-law, Laura Ehrmantraut.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
