Jones, Richard E. “Dick”, 78, retired crew chief at Beechcraft for 32 years passed away Aug. 10, 2011. He was preceded in death by son Jerry W. Pharr, brother Eugene Jones and sisters Dee Simon and Ann Dark. Survivors are wife of 49 years, Joy; son James (Kate) Pharr of Anchorage, AK; daughter Denise Jones of Wichita; brothers Don of Centralia, WA, Vernon of Whittier, CA; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Viewing is Sunday 12 to 8 pm with family receiving 4 to 5 pm and funeral service is 3:00 pm Monday, Aug. 15 at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Colonial Heights Assembly of God Church.
