Richard "Dick" Lee Krehbiel passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025. He was born on November 15, 1938, to Loretta (Laffoon) and Gerald P. Krehbiel in Wichita, Kansas. Dick grew up alongside his siblings, Gerald “Skip” Krehbiel, John Hinson and Linda Sperber Pullman.
Dick served in the Air Force for four years, while being stationed in Anchorage, Alaska, during that time. Dick dedicated his life to work and took part in many business endeavors.
At age nineteen, Richard married his late wife, Sandre (Elberson) of Sedgwick, Kansas, on July 29th, 1958. Dick and Sandre built a wonderful life together over the next 67 years which involved traveling the world and creating a beautiful family. Richard leaves behind his daughter, Sundie Campbell; his sons, Shawn Krehbiel and Shane Krehbiel; his grandchildren, Ryan Moussavi, Cassie Goode (Joe), Bryndon Moussavi, Nathan Krehbiel (Amanda), Sheena Kothe (Trey), Torrie Koehler (Evan), Skyler Krehbiel (Courtney), Tollie Rupe and Jessica Krehbiel; and (soon to be) thirteen great-grandchildren.
A come and go visitation will be Monday, July 7th, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Dick will be held Tuesday, July 8th, 2025, at 10 a.m., both services are taking place at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
