Wood, Richard Dwain “Pop”, 81, passed through Heaven’s Gate August 31, 2012. He was a retired photographer and a Patriot Guard support vehicle driver. He was a member of American Legion, Bethel Life Center, Gideons International and YMCA Silver Sneakers. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. His survivors are wife of 58 years, Joyce; son, Greg Wood of Wichita; daughters, Teresa (Tom) Engelmann of Wichita, Tammy (Tom) Glaves of Lake Stevens, WA; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Viewing is Monday 1 to 5 pm with family receiving friends 2 to 3 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 4:00 pm Tuesday, Sept. 4 at Bethel Life Center with burial at Harper City Cemetery, Harper, KS. Memorials may be sent to Kansas Honor Flight
