Martin, Rita Jean (Schlarp), 80, homemaker passed away June 26, 2011. Rita had worked at Shepler’s catalog dept. and enjoyed oil painting and animals. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman in 1995. Survivors are daughters Michele Mankins and Melissa (Glenn) Wiens of Wichita; sister Betty (Bob) Beck of Pittsburg, PA; nephew Scott Beck; grandchildren Troy (Jennifer) Mankins, Dustin Wiens, Ashton Wiens; great grandson Dylan Mankins; niece Sharon and nephew Dale Limp. Viewing is Wednesday 12 to 8 with family receiving 6 to 7. Funeral service is 1:00 pm Thursday, June 30 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to Kansas Humane Society.
