Sweet, R.L., 95, born in Okmulgee, OK, to parents Arlo Sweet and Gladys Crews, passed away April 30, 2016. R.L. was a United States Marine and served in WWII and Korean Wars. He had a multifaceted career mostly in sales. In retirement he enjoyed volunteering including the Red Cross and Envision. He was a dedicated family man and husband and he will be deeply missed. He was preceded by parents; and brothers, Charles and Dean Sweet. R.L. is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eileen Sweet; daughter, Charlotte Sweet; son, Brad (Patti) Sweet; granddaughters, Rachel and Rebecca Sweet. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel and Graveside service at 1:00 PM to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Hutchinson.
