He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Esther Spicer; sister, Marjorie Hoener; and his loving wife of 57 years, Gerry Spicer.
Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an Eagle Scout, scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America, was a Red Cross Volunteer Driver, and loved traveling with Gerry.
He is survived by son, Ronald (Jackie) Spicer, Shawnee, daughter, Karen (Lee) Yarrow, Morganville, son, Alan (Rose) Spicer, Topeka; sister, Helen Johnson, Huntsville, AL; 8 grandchildren.
Rosary, 7pm, Monday, November 28, 2011 and Funeral Mass 10:30am, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 both at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
