Boggs, Robert “Bob”, 92, retired RSC Electronics warehouse supervisor, passed away March 28, 2013. Bob was a former Boy Scout leader and longtime active member of Faith Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy in 2002 and his brother, John Boggs. His survivors include sons, Lyndon of Valley Center and Richard and John Douglas (Kathleen Monique) both of Wichita; daughters, Elizabeth (Marty) Assink of Yakima, WA and Janet (Tony) Lopez of Winkleman, AZ; sisters, Helen (Duane) Gugler of Salina and Margaret (Bob) Hutchison of Abilene; grandchildren, Christopher VanGaasbeek, Jennifer VanGaasbeek, Jamie & Matthew Womack, Renee & Jeremy Shahan, Cassandra & Rylee Boggs, Alexander Boggs and numerous great-grandchildren. Viewing 3-8 p.m. Sunday with funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, April 1, at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Christian Church or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
