Bob was a 1960 graduate of North High School in Wichita, Kansas and attended Wichita State University. He was retired from the Wichita Boeing Company and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Bob enjoyed talking with other Veterans he met about their service.
He was a Avid Amateur wildlife Photographer, which he loved dearly, especially interacting with other photographers and people that loved his photos. He was known for his kind heart and his jovial sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Loita Herrington; son, Doug Herrington (Sharon); daughter, Beth Herrington (Worth); 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren: as well and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Beulah Herrington; and brother, R. John Herrington.
No services will be held, per Bob's request.
