Robert A. Jacques

Robert “Bob” A. Jacques, age 93, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021. Bob was born on December 15, 1928 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Robert C. and Mary Alta (Margerum) Jacques. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mavis Hughes, infant granddaughter Mary, brother-in-law Shelby Hughes, son-in-law Tim Elam, former wife Mary (Dougherty) Jacques & niece Nancy Killion.

Bob served in the Air Force/Army Air Corps from 1949-1951. He graduated with a BS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. He was a retired Assistant Director of the Sedgwick County Health Department. He ran and operated J & L Oil and Tri-Kan Oil. When he was not working Bob enjoyed traveling and collecting antiques.

He is survived by his son Andy (Gail) Jacques, daughter Lisa Elam, grandchildren Wesley Jacques, Zachary Elam, David Elam, Ayden Jacques and great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow at 1:00pm at Lakeview Cemetery in the garden of Meditation.
