Robert C. LaRoche

Robert C. LaRoche, age 85, USAF veteran, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015, in Wichita. Robert was born March 28, 1930, in Port Isabelle, Texas, the son of Frank and Kitty Mae (Livingston) LaRoche. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Alice Louise LaRoche; 5 brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include: children, Rosie (Jay) Sims, Robert (Theresa) Logan, Sr.; Gene (Kim) Logan, Billy (Sheree) Logan, Donnie Parrot; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and brother, Fred LaRoche. Visitation will be 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday with family present 4 to 6 p.m.; funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, both at Hillside Funeral Home, 935 N. Hillside, Wichita; graveside service 2 p.m. Monday at Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College St., Winfield. A memorial has been established with Encompass Home Health & Hospice, Kansas Humane Society, and Wounded Warrior Project.
