Proesch, Robert V. (Bob) went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ onTuesday, July 3, 2012. Funeral service will be grave side on Saturday, July 7 at 10:00 am, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita, Kansas.
Bob was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, February 13, 1921. He married Marilynn D. Brandt of fifty plus years. Bob moved to Wichita early 1950's and worked for Mr. D's IGA Grocery. He later owned Bob's IGA in south Wichita, until retirement. Preceded in death: parents, brother, Melvin and wife, Marilynn Diane. His surviving loved ones are son, Bradley K. Proesch of Texas. Grandchildren: Cam Proesch (Christina), Wichita, Ks. Scott Proesch, Tenn., Andrea Proesch, Tenn. Great grandchild: Conway Proesch, Wichita, Ks. Throughout Bob's retirement years he became a care-giver for his precious Marilynn, and saw her through her illness with devotion, love, and sacrifice. Bob's last years were filled with many blessings as he took up residency with his son. He will surely be missed by all. Memorial donations will be sent to the American Kidney Foundation/Fund.
