Hirst, Roberta Lynn “Bertie”, 58, retail pharmacist passed away January 12, 2013. Bertie was a former pilot, gemstone collector and rebuilt a 1964 ½ Mustang. She enjoyed stained glass, astronomy, arts & crafts and was an animal lover. She is survived by her husband, Danny J. Holmes of Cheney; twin daughters, Nancy C. Hirst of Wichita, Jeannie V. (Jordan) Seckman of Topeka, and a grandchild on the way “soon to be”. Viewing is Thursday 12 to 8 pm and funeral service is 1:00 pm Friday, January 18 at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Kansas Humane Society.
