55, born December 20, 1960 in Wichita, KS, IT Specialist at Cessna for 17 years, passed away unexpectedly March 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean Wesley and Vivian Bonita Campbell Hughes. Rodney is survived by: his wife of 28 years, Darla; children, Alyssa, Trevor, McClellan, and Brennah Hughes; siblings, Bonnie (Raymond) Harvey, Sherri Lichtenberger, Vickie (Larry) Culver, and Dean Wesley Hughes II (Pam Bailey); brother-in-law, Kevin (Julie) Harris; father and mother-in-law, Norval and Dallas Harris; niece Janell (Matt) Schram, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary (11800 W Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209) on Tuesday, March 8 from 6-9 PM, and a funeral service will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church (842 N Tyler Rd, Wichita, KS 67212) on Wednesday, March 9 at 10:30 AM. Memorials may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church, Sigma Phi Epsilon (1740 N Vassar St, Wichita, KS 67208), or the Anthony Public Library (624 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003).
