Rodrigo was a hard working man. He always provided for his family, was a great husband, a great father, and grandfather. He was a jokester, loved to work on cars, and enjoyed being outside in his camper.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Efrain Rivera and Emma Sausameda Zayz.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Gloria Rivera; five children: Jose (Irma) Velo , Maria (Randy) Wall, Hilda ( Juan) Saenz, Isabel Velo, and Consuelito (Tony) Romo; nineteen grandchildren: Aron, Sol, Emmanuel, Daisy, Junior, Jalicia, Vivianna, Yanelli, Jorge Jr., Vanessa, Yadira, Rodrigo, Isaac, Samantha, Isaiah, Jonathan, Gloria, Jamie, and Anabella; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Rosa Castillo and Francisca Rivera.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 10am-7pm, a celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1pm and a graveside service will follow in the All at Resthaven Mortuary and Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
