

Roger K.Costner, 61, went to his happy hunting ground, where it’s always a good day a field and the fish are always biting on Saturday, September 3, 2011. Roger was a Army Ranger Special Forces where he was highly decorated receiving 4 Purple Hearts, Silver Star and a Bronze Star. He worked for 34 years at Cessna in Tool Control. He was a member of the American Legion Post 33 out of Alaska, avid outdoors man and dog lover.
Preceded in death by his parents Keith and Peggy Costner and nephew Mark Hammer.
Survived by his loving wife of 37 years Pam, sons Ryan and Brycen all of Wichita, brother Brett Costner (Donna) of Miami, OK, sisters Kay Buetow (Bill), Pamela Jean Lawyer (Bob) both of Wichita, Vicki Swanson (John) of Udall, sister-in-law Carol Johnson (Gary) of Wichita, 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews and his golden retriever Kato.
Visitation with family 6-8pm, Wed. Sept. 7, Funeral Service 1pm, Thurs. Sept. 8 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Chapel.
