Koerner, Roman Clarence, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the age of 82. Rosary 7 PM, Monday, May 13 and funeral services 10 AM, Tuesday, May 14, both at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 2801 S. Seneca. He was born January 30, 1931 to Alice and Leo Koerner. After a distinguished career, Roman retired from McCormick Armstrong and enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, golf and boating. He was an all-around good athlete, fun loving and just a great guy. Roman was a loving husband for 61 years to Ann, a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann; daughter, Susie; and brother, Clifford. Survived by his sons, Paul and Mike Koerner; daughters, Becky (Todd) Middleton, Patty Hill, Lori (Mike) Boone, Lisa (Mike) Barney; sixteen grandchildren, numerous great grand children, beloved dog, Sassy and his extended family at Derby Dialysis.
