Rosalie Ann Wasinger, 93 of Wichita, Loving Wife, mother, grandmother, Gigi and friend passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. She retired from the Union National Bank after more than 30 years of banking service.
She married William Francis Wasinger on December 30th, 1953, and were married for 69 happy years, and raised 5 children.
Rosalie enjoyed gardening, fishing trips, Polka, Square Dancing, Crafts, painting Old World Santas, taking care of her grandkids, and being a member of the Christian Women’s Club.
Rosalie was a proud, dedicated member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish for 57 years.
Preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents Leo and Mary Dorzweiler; sisters, Rita Dorzweiler, Cora Brennamen; brother, Marion Dorzweiler.
Survived by brother, Leo Dorzweiler of Hays, and sister, Mary Jane Thomas of Wichita. Daughter, Linda (John) Vestring of Tulsa Oklahoma; Son, Robert (Brenda Wasinger); son, James Wasinger; son, Francis Wasinger; daughter, Brenda Hardy all of Wichita; grandsons Ryan (Lindsey) Wasinger, Brett (Kristen) Wasinger, Colin Wasingier, Jeffrey (Erin) Vestring, grand-daughters; Courtney (Joseph) Burdick, Ashley Hardy, Jessica Hardy, and 14 great grandchildren.
Rosary will be Saturday, August 22 at 10 am, followed by the Funeral Mass both at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 861 North Socora ,Wichita, KS. 67212
A Committal Service will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on August 22, 2026.
