Rose was born in Wichita on March 24, 1940 to Louis and Fay Hotze. She married Tom in 1959, and together they had six children. Rose remarried in 1997 to Don Kramer and were happily married until his untimely death in 2021. She retired from GMAC Financial after spending more than 20 years with the company, after which she devoted all of her time to being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Rose is survived by her kids, Mike (Mary), Jim (Shelly), Frank (Kim), Ted (Lisa), and Tom (Shannon) McCormick; her siblings, John Hotze, Sister Bernadette Hotze, Patricia McKenna, Theresa Silhan; 18 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her first husband, Tom McCormick, second husband, Don Kramer, brothers, Louis Hotze, and Tom Hotze; her sister, Mary Silhan; and her daughter, Judy McCormick.
A visitation for Rose will be held Friday, September 16, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209. A funeral service will occur Friday, September 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. A graveside service will occur Friday, September 16, 2022 at St. Joseph Ost Cemetery, 13015 E. Maple Grove Rd., Mount Hope, KS 67108.
