Ray, Rosemary Joanne, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend entered into the presence of the Lord on Sept. 13, 2010. Rosemary was the retired administrative secretary to the City of Wichita Fire Chief and co-owner of Ray’s Markets. She was a member of West Heights United Methodist Church and Iota Mu Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. She was a world traveler who loved sewing, gardening, knitting, cats and chocolate. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 yrs, Howard M. Ray in 2008. Survivors are son Gary (Beryl) Ray; daughter Rebecca (Gary) Eichacker of Wichita; brother Bob Struebing of Tulsa; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Viewing is Thursday 12 to 8 pm with family receiving 7 to 8 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:30 am Friday, Sept. 17 at West Heights United Methodist Church.
