Rosemary Simpson, 90, homemaker, died May 15, 2013. Born September 28, 1922 in Liebenthal, KS the daughter of Joseph and Rosa Schafer. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover. Rosemary is preceded in death by: husband Ambrose Simpson; son, Kenneth; brother, Bertrand Schafer; son-in-law, David Ely. Survived by: sons, Joseph and wife Dianne of San Antonio, TX; Kevin of Chicago, IL; daughters, Pat Simpson of Topeka; Carol Simpson of Andover; grandchildren, Rachel, Katie and Nick; sisters, Leola Gottschalk of Hays, Coleta and husband Francis Haberman of Great Bend, Geraldine Schafer of Dallas, TX, Ann and husband Virgil Dechant of Leawood, KS. Rosary will be 7:00PM Sunday May 19, 2013 and Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM Monday May 20, 2013 both at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Andover with entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wichita. Memorial may be made to the church.
