Had a long relationship with Dr Henderson, both personally and professionally. He will be missed. 

Just wanted to add a candle for Dr. Roy's Birthday to say he will always be missed.  Can't wait till spring to see the flowers blooming.  Loved talking about the flower garden and the Jayhawks with him. Rock Chalk Roy!

I found out of Dr. Roy's passing late. How I learned to admire him after seeing him for a long period of time. Dr. Roy was a very, very special person. I will always remember his caring ways.

I just by chance looked Roy up on facebook & was referred to his obituary.  I don't know why I was so surprised except that he  seemed ageless.  I drove 120 miles sometimes twice a month for several years back 15 years ago.  He helped me through some really rough times.  He once said that no one really remembers their doctors after so many years but he was so wrong.  I think of him often & feel lucky I was able to get his help when I needed it.  I wish I could remember Vonnie's last name.  She was very loyal to him.  Roy, you can bet you are remembered by many more patients than me.

Dear Vickie, Michelle, and Monty,
I learned of Roys passing just yesterday when visiting with my parents. We all have fond memories of Roy from the years we were your neighbors when living on Glendale. The last time I spoke with Roy was a couple of years ago when seeing him on Lewis St. while he was walking his dog. We are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers and will always have pleasant memories of Roy as a good neighbor.

Dr. Henderson was the kindest most caring psychologist I could of ever had when I was in college at Wichita State. He helped me to believe in myself and to remember that Our Lord is always with me in my heart to have faith, hope, and love, to hang in here in life no matter what is given  to us to deal with on a daily basis. He was so loving and caring to everyone who saw him. I am so sorry for your loss...I know Roy is in heaven with Jesus. With deepest sympathy and prayers Ron & Shirley Cox

Roy became a dear friend to my wife and I early in our marriage and 26 years later we often look back and know how lucky our lives and so many others were to be a part of his. GOD BLESS.

Dear Monty, Justin, Brooks, Michelle and Vickie:  Just saw Roy's obit in the paper.  So very sorry for your loss. Recently when we saw Vonnie's obit we both said, I wonder how Roy is doing.  We each said to the other, we need to pick up the phone and give him a call, but that didn't happen.  Now I am so sorry we didn't.  We just want you all to know what an impact he had on our lives.  I am not sure we could have gotten through some of the rough patches we had to endure in our younger years had  it not been for his wise counsel and concern.  I know you will all miss him a lot and our thoughts are certainly with you.  As always, Jackie & Gary Barnes

Tis was a wonderful, careing man and will be greatly missed.

A wonderful professional individual, who had a great sense of humor.  He cared deeply for his clients, and was always concerned for their well being.  Roy was a loving husband and father and enjoyed/loved his puppy dogs.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
