Irons, Roy E, 92, retired Quality Chevrolet auto mechanic for 37 years, passed away July 3, 2013. Roy was a WWII and Korean War veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor. He especially enjoyed bowling. Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Markum Irons. His survivors include companion, Peggy Hall and his brother, Loren “Red” Irons. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Resthaven Mortuary with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice and the Kansas Humane Society.
