Russell Lee Malcom

Russell Lee Malcom, age 84, retired Manager of Planning and Forecasting at Westar after 35 years of service, passed away Sunday, January, 16, 2022. He served four years in the U.S. Army and achieved a Business degree at Wichita State University. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Edna Malcom; and brothers Harvey and Floyd Malcom. Survivors include his wife Mary Ann; children James (Lisa) Hammonds; grandchildren Preston Hammonds; brother Larry (Karen) Malcom; sister Nancy Pickert. Visitation will be held from 10am- 12:30pm on Tuesday, January 25, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS, 67209. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 14310 E. 42 St. S. #600, Independence, MO 64055.
