Ruth Elizabeth (McNair) Cope

Ruth Elizabeth (McNair) Cope, age 101, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Tuesday June 9, 2020. Ruth was born September 29, 1918 in White Oak, Mississippi to Mary Elizabeth Davis-McNair and Daniel McNair. Ruth had 13 brothers and sisters.

Ruth is survived by; daughters Pat Neace, Pam Porter, and Peggy Riebel; grandchildren Amie Wingfield (Scott), Tim Porter (Lachelle), Haley Riebel; great grandchildren Gracie Wingfield, Avery Wingfield, Taylor Porter, Tagen Porter and Tatyn Porter.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Cope; son-in-law Steve Neace; father Daniel McNair and mother Mary Elizabeth Davis-McNair; and grandchild Eric Porter.

A private family funeral service for Ruth will be held at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to Union Rescue Mission of Wichita, 2800 N Hillside St, Wichita, Kansas 67219; and The Salvation Army of Wichita, 350 N Market St, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
