Sammie Lou (Freeman) Thompson

Sammie loved crafting, decorating cakes, loved swimming, gardening, and celebrating the holidays especially Christmas. She loved to collect Betty Boop. She enjoyed watching all the shows on TV Land like Mary Tyler Moore and Andy Griffith. Her faith in God was undeniable. Her love language was cooking and baking for her loved ones.

Sammie is survived by her son Ryan Hammonds; daughter Rebecca Gust (Michael); mother Wilma Malcom-Franklin; sisters Flora Naff (Glenn) and Maurie Franklin-Maestas (Mike); grandchildren Samantha Lee, Emily Lee, and Gabriella Hammonds; and great grandchildren Onyx and Serenity.

Sammie was preceded in death by her husband Larry Thompson; son Tim Thompson; father Elgin Sam Freeman; and brother Randall Freeman.
