Sandra Kay Braland

Braland, Sandra, 75, passed away November 29, 2017. Sandra enjoyed playing board games, completing crossword puzzles, playing Hay Day, and meeting new people. She will forever be known for her quick witted humor, her determined and selfless heart of gold, her intuition, and most of all the nurturing spirit she embodied. Sandra is preceded in death by her beloved daddy, Robert H. Ivy, and daughter-in-law, Jill Braland. She was a beloved wife to her husband of 57 years, Orvie Braland; a loving mother, teacher and confidant to her children, Randy Braland, Brian Braland, Janel (Jay) Hall and Heather (Trom) Thomas; loving daughter to her mother, Bonnie Ivy; a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren, Parker Landon, Tyler (Stephanie) Braland, Carly (David) Velasquez, Traci Hall, Kolby Landon, Luke (Alana) Braland, Chandler Thomas, Hillary (Casey) Clutts, Carley Thomas, Erica (Nick) Laney; and great-grandchildren, Ryder Clutts and Baby Laney; and a loving sister to her brother, Robert Gene Ivy (Beneva) and sister, Linda Ivy; as well as a kind person to many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service in her honor will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 4, 2017, at Glorious Life Church.
