Sandra C. Gary
June 1, 1935 – February 5, 2021
Sandra C. Gary, age 85, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. Sandra was born June 1, 1935 in Garden City, Kansas to Corabelle and Bruce Staunton.
She graduated from East High School and attended college in Texas. She worked for the Post Office and the Veterans Administration. She retired from the Veterans Administration as a loan adjucater after 28 years. She served as President for the Government Employees Union.
Sandra is survived by son Kevin Gary of Wichita; daughter Patty Hoffer (Gene) of Wichita; daughter DeAnn Hester (James) of Newton; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by father Bruce Staunton and mother Corabelle Staunton; brother Mervin Staunton; sister Rose Kirkbright and sister Patty Hadley Baker.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206.

I Love Sandy When I Came Over To Patty’s House She Was Very Kind To Me I Always Hung out At Patty’s House They Would All Take Me in And Show Me Love Always Walked To School with Patty So I Was There In The Morning also she Worked A lot I Can Still See Her In Her Work Clothes we Had So Much Fun Rest In Peace Sandy I Hope You Are Dancing And Feel Like A Brand New Lady I know you Had To Balance Working And Being A Mother Also My Prayers Go Out To Your Family And Friends Kevin Patty And DeAnna love You All We All Be Together Again One Day I Love You Sandy
