Sandra Kay Mullin

Sandra Kay Mullin, age 79, retired Maize South High School lunchroom cashier for 16 years, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Sandra was born on June 28, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Orville O. and Meredythe E. (Hodge) Calkins.

She was a graduate of Goddard High School in 1961.

On September 3, 1963 she married William J. Mullin, Sr. in Wichita. He passed away on November 2, 1993.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Phyllis Dodge.

Survivors include her sons, William Jr. "B.J." and wife, Debra Mullin of Goddard, Jeff and wife, Jennifer Mullin of El Dorado, Scott and wife, Tiann Mullin of Charleston, SC; brothers, Clint and wife, Verna Calkins of Grand Island, NE, Gary Calkins, Gale and wife, Mary Lue Calkins of Wichita; grandchildren, Matthew and wife, Renee Mullin, Ashley Mullin, Casey Mullin, Logan Mullin, Brandon and wife, Ashley Mullin and Kala and husband, Leo Ankrom; and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2023 at Resthaven Mortuary. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 7 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas.

A memorial has been established with Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill, Suite #403, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
