Sarah A. Rue

84, retired Wichita Eagle accountant, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2017. Albertine was the owner of Rue Publishing House and a Gideon's Auxiliary member. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and sister, Ruth Dillon. Albertine is survived by her sister, Naomi (Herald) Walton; sons, Robert Timothy (Sandra) Rue of Angola, IN, Stephen (Beverly) Rue of Valley Center, KS and Philip (Jolita) Rue of Udall, KS; 22 grandchildren, Brittany Rue, Chadwick Rue, Bryant Rue, Charity Rue, Harason Rue, Talbot Rue, Mercy Rue, Elizabeth (Jackson) Colflesh, Michelle (John-Mark) Henke, Nicole (Dylan) Jacob, Cara (Samuel) Edwards, Rebecca Rue, Lucas (Tear’a) Rue, Caleb (Amber) Rue, Jonalee (Steven) VanDerHart, Jannelle (Jared) Holcomb, Jemaea (Benjamin) Miller, Janessa Rue, Jaycie Rue, Jacob Rue, Judah Rue, and Jillaina Rue; and 14 great grandchildren, Adelyn Colflesh, Amelia Colflesh, Titus Henke, Francisco Jones, Diego Jones, Audrey Colflesh, Rowan Henke, Brynn Jacob, Finn Rue, Fox Rue, Liam VanDerHart, Ezra Holcomb, Emslie Miller, Everett Miller. Visitation with family present is Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 11, 2017 at Northwest Free Methodist Church and graveside service is 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to Gideon's International, Central Christian College or Northwest Free Methodist Church.
