It was a pleasure to know this man. He was always so easy going and high spirited. He didnt seem to get to stressed out or at least show it if he did.
The short time that I knew him, I was really glad to of made his acquaintance. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing, Team Electric and I offer our most sincere condolences to the families. Both his own and the Shelley Electric family.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, and extra sorry I never was able to meet Scott. We are related through marriage through my aunt Clarice Connell Phillips. I am 48, and also an avid triathlete -- and to learn that I have even one other member of my extended family that was active in triathlon would have really been a joy. I'm so sorry for your tragic loss. My prayers go out to you all.

To all of Scott’s family,

I was saddened at the news about Scott. He was a few years behind me in school so I didn’t know him that well. But he was a great kid from a wonderful St. Mary’s family. Denise and MaryBeth and everyone else, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

We are so grateful that soccer with our girls connected us with your family! I had an instant bond with Scott via our love for K-State and had several conversations based on our alma mater. In the short time we’ve known your family, it was evident how personable Scott was! I will miss seeing him on the sideline cheering on his girls!

I am So Incredibly Sorry for your loss. I just saw Scott this summer in Topeka. He invited me and a friend to a golf tournament. He is and was such a good friend to me at Junior College at NCCC. If there is anything I can do please, please let me know.

Our Yocum family is deeply saddened to hear of Scott's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time. I have many memories of Scott as we grew up as neighbors and classmates. We spent many summers playing sandlot baseball, basketball and football in our backyards. Scott was one of the greatest athletes of our class of '86. I had the pleasure of playing baseball and basketball in high school with Scott and those memories I will always cherish. Most importantly Scott was a kind and loving man and always treated everyone around him in the greatest way. He was a role model for all of us and our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

To all of Scott’s family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Scott was much older than I, but what I remember about Scott is his presence at his siblings sports events whenever he was back. He was very supportive of them and their teams.

Praying you can find peace and comfort with each memory of Scott.
