77, born on March 5, 1939 in Columbus, KS, went to be with her heavenly family on September 17, 2016. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from Learjet after 35 years. A strong Christian woman, Sharon was a charter member of West Side Church of God where she played piano and taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Wally Farris, and brothers, Kermit, Keith, and Bill Schweer. Sharon is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rick McDonald; sons, Mike (Vanessa) McDonald and Lynn (Carol) McDonald; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm with a Coming Home Celebration to follow at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, Sep. 20, both at West Side Church of God.
