Sharon will be remembered as a beloved presence in the lives she touched, marked by a kind heart and a steady devotion to those she held dear.
On March 27, 1981, Sharon married Ralph W. Rissmiller in California. Together, they shared a life grounded in commitment and care. Sharon was also a devoted mother to her two sons, David P. Botonis and Shaun M. Botonis.
Sharon found comfort and joy in simple, meaningful pastimes. Her patient hands and thoughtful spirit were evident in her quilting, and she enjoyed the companionship and conversation that came with playing cards.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Loreta Hilliard; her brothers, Gary Hilliard and Steven Hilliard.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Ralph W. Rissmiller; her sons, David P. Botonis and Shaun M. Botonis; 1 granddaughter and 1 great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on August 17, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at Resthaven Mortuary on August 17, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A Committal Service will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory following the service.
