Sherron passed away surrounded by friends and family on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the age of 78. She was born to Eugene and Jacqueline (Pittman) Costello on November 16, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri. She had three siblings, Ronald, Sandra Laymon and Donald.
Sherron was in management for Pizza Hut, Big Cheese Pizza, Montgomery Ward, Sears, Gordmans, Select Comfort and she was the owner of Fashion Crossroads in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She enjoyed Basketball, especially watching WSU, automotive affiliate activities and was part of the Air Capital Corvette club, Midwest Sevens and DFKit Goblin clubs. She was also part of the Chamber of Commerce.
Sherron was preceded in death by her siblings, Ronald, Sandra, Donald and daughter, Kathleen. She is survived by her children, James (Summer) Magyar, Joseph Magyar and grandchildren, Emily Magyar, Ryan Winn and Aaron Heath.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9 am – 10 am with funeral service to follow at 10 am, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
After the service at Resthaven, please join us for a luncheon at Redeemer Church, located at 1900 W McCormick St, Wichita, from 11:30 AM to 2 PM
